More than 50% of homes in Lisbon are sold in less than six months
In one year more than 6,000 homes were sold in the metropolitan area of Lisbon
About 55% of housing on offer in the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon took on average less than six months to get sold, according to data from the Confidential Property, which relates to transactions that occurred between the second quarter of 2015 and the first quarter of 2016.
Throughout this period of one year, the transactions for over 6,000 houses in the metropolitan area of the capital were registered, where 20% were sold in less than three months and 35% between three and six months.
Of the total sales made, 40% occurred in the municipality of Lisbon, followed by Sintra, Cascais and Oeiras. In Lisbon, the average selling price in this period is 1,750 euros per m2 up to 3,000 euros per m2.
